Today, we have a band from Orlando, Florida. Todd Goings and Tessa D are brother and sister and Known as The Lovelines. The band records their music in the brother’s DIY home Studio in Orlando, FL parterning with Matt Bishop and Wilderfox Studio for the mixing/mastering process. The Lovelines released their debut single Strange Kind Of Love on December 26th, 2021. Strange Kind Of Love rose to the #1 position on Submithub’s Popular Charts, garnering the band a minor buzz in the Indie music world. The Lovelines have a full The Lovelines album written and recorded, and will release it single-to-single over the course of 2022-2023. The single Dark Thoughts About A Pretty Flower was released on March 3rd, 2022.
Recently, we had a submission on Groovers by The Lovelines. The song name is “Steadily“ the track had funk jazzy beat with groovy rock drum and snare. The song is available on all streaming platforms on Jun, 18 | 2022.

We had a chance to have an interview with him, so here it all goes!
Our first question was,
— How did came up with this album, and what was the thought process for it?
He replied- “I like to listen to my local jazz radio station WUCF 89.9. On jazz radio, you hear bands performing rendition after rendition of what’s known as ‘standards.’ Classic compositions that bands cover, you know. I wanted to write a song that sounded like an old-fashioned jazz ‘standard’ my sister and I were covering. That song was our debut Strange Kind of Love. It’s not a cover, but it’s written with the intention of sounding like a cover. It’s our faux jazz standard (haha). It has a lounge act sound, our new single Steadily is an extension of that sound”
We loved your album and it just a piece of art and real talent! Our audience will surely love it!
So, the next question was,
— What first got you into music?
He replied- “Music is in my blood, I think. I’m from a lineage of musicians (haha)”
One said—“Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.”
Moving to next,
— Which artist inspires you the most and why?
He replied- “There’s not one artist like that for me. I have bouts from artist to artist, you know? It can be a musician, a painter, a poet, there’s no rhyme or reason to it (haha). “I want to write a song that sounds like this painting looks” is a good example of how use that inspiration”
Yes, your song is one of its kind!

— Any final words for our reader and people listening to your music?
He replied- “Thank you for listening to our music! And, thanks for the support Jumblebass”
