So, Today we have a female rapper, singer, and songwriter from Brooklyn, NYC. Imani also known as Manii Ling is a rapper, singer, and a songwriter, with her previous hit “ALL YEAR”
Charting all over the world with a thousand of streams and listeners on Spotify, Apple, and YouTube.
Recently we had a submission on Groovers by Manii Ling. The track is a Brooklyn drill style track with crazy shuffle in it. The track name is “No Structure” which is produced by Glo Banks released on May 30, 2022. The track is supported by Rap&Husttle, and is available on all streaming platforms.

So we had a chance to have an interview with her, so here it all goes!
— How did came up with this album, and what was the thought process for it?
She replied- “It was alotta funny stuff going on with other artists from NYC that I felt like needed to be addressed & idk how to keep quiet lol”
So, the next question was,
— What first got you into music?
She replied- “Well I’ve been singing since elementary school, I think for singers it’s one of those things you’ve been doing all your life that you can remember. I always messed around writing rhymes over the years but around 17/18 I started to take rapping more seriously”
And yes, the rap just absolute phenomenal and waving!

— Which artist inspires you the most and why?
She replied-” I would say drake has inspired me the most. I’ve always been a huge drake fan and when I was around 16 I started doing remixes and covers to drake songs with my friends. He definitely inspired me to add in the rapping with my singing most definitely because I think he’s great at that. Whenever I need some motivation i just listen to Drake honestly”
Drake is a legend when it comes to rap music. He is such an inspiring, humble and a gentleman!
Soooo our last question was,
— Any final words for our reader and people listening to your music?
She replied- “Don’t sleep on me! I’m more versatile than you’d think. I’m ready to take over the scene for the Female Artists in NYC, and you’ll be seeing and hearing about me a lot this is just the beginning!”
